Tebogo Samuel Kgarimetsa, known as “Sam,” is a distinguished South African business leader with over 20 years of experience across various industries, including petrochemicals, steel, and mining. He has held significant leadership roles at Sasol, Macsteel, and Anglo American, where he has driven strategic value and operational excellence, earning multiple awards in safety, sustainability, and leadership.

Sam holds several advanced degrees, amongst others a Master’s in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg, Executive Leadership Program from Oxford University, and is an active member of professional organizations such as the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Institute of Directors of South Africa and Golden Key International Society. Recently, he published an article on Generation Z retention in the mining sector and he was honored with the “Successful Leadership Award” from ME VISION ACADEMY, recognizing his inclusion in a global initiative to identify top leaders by 2030.
